This natural slate house sign is made from Welsh slate removed from a farm house in Llangybi, North Wales which has been standing for over 100 years.
This type of engraving is called 'V Carved' which uses a CNC miller, this means the lettering has been carved into the slate using a computer controlled drill and will last as long as the house, if not longer, creating a smooth and deep finish.
We do NOT use stickers which will eventually peel off.
 
To keep the sign looking as natural and high quality as possible we do not infill them with colour which will fade with time, we allow the natural (and previously unexposed) lighter shade of stone to show through.
 
HOW TO ORDER.
Choose your size then your font (last photo), if you require another font please let me know.
 
It is then your choice whether you have a house name, just a number or your house number and road name, just add as many details as you can to the 'Personalisation' box.
 
MOUNTING.
Each sign will have holes pre-drilled and be supplied with the screws, plugged and 2 stainless steel stand-off for that perfect finish.
